1. So what’s different about what you offer?

ANSWER: Finding Peace Community Counseling provides York County Residents with mental health therapy services in their homes or in the community. Dauphin and Lancaster County have some openings as well.

2. Where in the community can you meet?

ANSWER: Any mutually agreed upon location that is safe and complies with privacy standards of HIPAA. Most commonly, a walk near your home.


3. What if I only have a small room I rent or I don’t have privacy in my home?
ANSWER: If there isn’t sufficient space or privacy to follow guidelines for HIPAA, you may be better suited office based treatment


4. What if I just want to meet virtually?
ANSWER: For Medicaid and Medicare members, insurance requires the first visit to be in person
and at least once every 12 months thereafter

5. I was referred to you by probation/crisis intervention/my family, what will you be sharing with them and how does that impact how you treat me?

ANSWER: You will be treated with dignity and respect regardless of your referral source; including your referral source in your treatment is 100% up to you.


6. What’s the expected costs for my visits? What insurance do you take?
ANSWER: Here is my good faith estimate, which is all I can provide before learning about your individual insurance.

Medicaid: I am in the application process to bill Medicaid, after which your visits will be 100% covered by your health insurance
Medicare: I am in the application process to bill Medicare, after which your visits will likely require you to pay 20% of your bill ($10-$30) for each visit)
Highmark (Blue Cross Blue Shield): I am credentialed with Highmark, your visits may require you to pay a copay of $0-$40 for each visit.

Aetna: I am credentialed with Aetna, your visits may require you to pay a copay of $0-$40 for each visit.

Capital Blue Cross: I am credentialed with Capital Blue Cross, your visits may require you to pay a copay of $0-$40 for each visit.

Self Pay Rates: $150 for 60 minutes
